The company began operations as Akratek Electronic in 2011 and later expanded from broadcast-sector importing into its own product development and manufacturing. Its first Forprompt teleprompter was developed in 2013, followed by mass production in 2014, and the Fortinge brand subsequently grew to include monitors, touchscreen systems, software and other studio technologies.
The company’s teleprompter portfolio includes studio systems for ENG and professional studio cameras, with products such as VEGA, PROX, ERA IP and ERA LITE. These systems are designed for broadcast studios, newsrooms and on-location production, with options including high-brightness displays, SDI, HDMI and NDI/IP connectivity.
