DDS State of the Art Conference 2026 will take place from October 16 to 17, 2026, at Hilton Antwerp Old Town in Antwerp, Belgium. Organised by the Digital Dentistry Society (DDS), the scientific conference brings together dental clinicians, researchers, educators and technology specialists to examine the clinical applications of digital dentistry. Held under the theme “Digital Dentistry Unlocked,” the 2026 programme focuses on integrating digital technologies into established treatment procedures while addressing their practical benefits, limitations and clinical requirements.
The scientific programme covers AI-based dental imaging, digital endodontics, orthodontics, implant dentistry, prosthodontics and clinical 3D printing. Sessions examine image-guided diagnosis and treatment planning, intraoral scanning, digital implant workflows, guided surgery and the production of dental models and appliances. Additional topics include digital approaches to paediatric dentistry and developments in medical bioprinting. Clinical case presentations and specialist discussions provide opportunities to explore how these technologies are applied across different dental disciplines.
A dedicated pre-conference workshop day on October 15 offers separately ticketed hands-on training in digital dental workflows. The main conference combines expert lectures, research presentations, interactive discussions and partner-led educational activities. Its scientific programme is accredited for continuing professional education in Belgium and the Netherlands. By connecting clinical practice with research and technology development, the conference supports professional exchange among dentists, dental technicians and other specialists working with digital oral healthcare.
