Healthcare Design Conference + Expo 2026 will take place from October 17 to 20, 2026, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, United States. The event focuses on the planning, design, construction and operation of healthcare environments, bringing together architects, interior designers, healthcare facility leaders, engineers, contractors, medical planners and other professionals involved in hospitals, clinics and related facilities. The expo hall will operate from October 18 to 20, while pre-conference activities begin on October 17.
The exhibition presents products, materials and services used in healthcare buildings and interior environments. Areas represented include architectural products, furnishings, interior materials, building systems, facility technologies and solutions intended for healthcare construction and renovation projects. More than 400 vendors are scheduled to exhibit in 2026. The event is accompanied by an educational programme with more than 110 sessions covering healthcare planning, evidence-based design, behavioural health environments, project delivery, sustainability, technology, clinical operations and facility management.
The 2026 edition will also be co-located with the International Federation of Healthcare Engineering (IFHE) 29th World Congress. This brings healthcare engineering and facilities professionals into the same venue alongside the design and construction community. The programme includes keynote sessions, workshops, facility tours, continuing education opportunities and presentations in the Solutions Theater. Together, the conference and exhibition provide a view of current approaches to the design, construction and operation of healthcare facilities.
