PACK EXPO International 2026 will take place from October 18 to 21, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago, United States. Organised by PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, the biennial trade show focuses on packaging and processing technologies used across manufacturing and consumer product industries. The 2026 edition is expected to bring together approximately 48,000 professionals and more than 2,700 exhibitors across 1.3 million net square feet of exhibit space, with participants representing more than 40 vertical markets.
The exhibition covers packaging machinery, processing equipment, automation systems, robotics, controls, conveying, inspection, coding and marking, labelling, printing, packaging materials, containers and supply-chain technologies. Sector-specific areas address food and beverage processing, healthcare and pharmaceutical packaging, logistics, reusable packaging, confectionery and snack production, and package printing. Visitors include professionals working in engineering, plant operations, production, procurement, packaging development, sustainability, research and management across food, beverage, healthcare, personal care, household products and other manufacturing sectors.
The 2026 programme also includes more than 150 educational sessions delivered across several show-floor stages. Topics include automation, operational efficiency, sustainability, food safety, packaging materials, processing technologies and supply-chain developments. Dedicated pavilions and learning areas organise technologies by application, while live equipment demonstrations allow visitors to examine machinery and production systems in operation. The event therefore combines packaging materials, processing machinery and manufacturing technologies with technical education covering changes affecting packaging and processing operations.
