World Dental Show 2026 to Combine Dental Technology Expo With Hands-On Education in Mumbai

Dental equipment, clinical technologies and professional education will come together in Mumbai this October as World Dental Show 2026 brings the Indian dental community back to the Jio World Convention Centre.

World Dental Show 2026 is scheduled for October 17–18 in Mumbai, with the annual event organized by the Indian Dental Association. Current international dental-event calendars list the show at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Rather than operating solely as a product exhibition, WDS combines a trade floor with scientific and educational activities. The organizer describes the event as a platform for dental technology, research and clinical techniques, supported by scientific sessions, symposiums, workshops, paper and poster presentations.

Dental technology across the clinical workflow

The exhibition side covers equipment and materials used across different areas of dentistry.

The current WDS exhibitor system includes companies working in dental imaging, lasers, implants, restorative and orthodontic materials, oral-care products and other clinical technologies. Suppliers from India and international markets including South Korea, Brazil and Poland also appear in the exhibitor database.

That range reflects how dental practices are increasingly built around connected workflows rather than individual pieces of equipment. Imaging, treatment planning, restorative materials and manufacturing technologies can now form part of the same digital process from diagnosis through to treatment.

WDS positions the exhibition as a place where clinicians can examine these technologies alongside the scientific and practical education needed to use them.

Workshops bring a practical side to the event

Hands-on learning remains an important part of the World Dental Show format.

Alongside lectures and symposiums, the event structure includes practical workshops and clinical presentations intended to give dentists and students exposure to techniques beyond the exhibition floor. The Indian Dental Association says professional education, research and the development of clinical skills form part of its wider mission.

The WDS platform also supports paper, poster and table-clinic presentations covering areas including restorative dentistry, oral surgery, prosthodontics, dental materials, radiology, public health, periodontics and paediatric and geriatric oral health.

This combination gives the Mumbai event two distinct roles: a marketplace for dental equipment and materials, and a professional forum for discussing how new techniques and technologies are being used in clinical practice.

World Dental Show is held at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, with the venue information confirmed on the event’s official website.

For the 2026 edition, the overlap between equipment, digital workflows and clinical education gives the show a broader focus than a conventional dental trade exhibition alone.

World Dental Show 2026 is scheduled for October 17–18 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
