Harrogate Nursery Fair 2026 Adds New Brands Zone and Retail Forum

Emerging baby-product brands and changing consumer behaviour will receive more attention at Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2026, with a new startup-focused exhibition area and a dedicated retail discussion program joining this year’s show.

Harrogate International Nursery Fair will return to the Harrogate Convention Centre from October 18–20, 2026, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers and buyers across the baby and nursery products market. The event is open exclusively to trade visitors.

One of the main additions for 2026 is a dedicated New Brands Zone in Hall C, created for smaller and emerging companies entering the nursery market. The area sits alongside a new Baby Products Industry Association pavilion and is intended to give newer businesses a more accessible route onto the exhibition floor.

Newcomers bring a broader mix of products

The organizer’s latest update names several companies that will make up the New Brands Zone, with products ranging from parenting accessories and gifts to reusable products and travel-related equipment.

Confirmed participants include Will & Finch, The Silicone Straw Company, Hello Boo, Shady Car Shades and Woodvale Studios. The 2026 hall plan also shows additional emerging brands and the BPIA presence concentrated in Hall C.

The wider exhibition reflects how the nursery market now stretches well beyond traditional prams, cots and car seats. Current exhibitor communications include products such as wearable breast pumps, baby monitors, bottle-cleaning systems, feeding equipment and child travel products, alongside more established nursery categories.

Retailers get a new discussion forum

Product launches will not be the only new element this year.

The Progressive Preschool Forum will debut with five sessions spread across the three-day event. The organizer says discussions will cover market trends, changing consumer behaviour, sales opportunities, visual merchandising, industry developments and emerging brands.

That gives the 2026 edition a stronger retail dimension, looking not only at which products are entering the market but also at how stores are responding to changes in what parents buy and how nursery products are presented and sold.

The forum is designed as a short-session format running alongside the exhibition, allowing retailers to move between talks, supplier meetings and the show floor.

Innovation awards remain part of the show

Harrogate will also continue its relationship with the Baby Products Industry Association’s Concept & Innovation Awards, although the official site says 2026 award information is still to be announced. Last year’s finalists included new approaches to child restraints and stroller design, but those entries relate to the 2025 competition and should not be treated as part of this year’s program.

With emerging brands receiving their own exhibition space and retailers getting a new forum focused on market change, the 2026 edition is adding more structure around how new nursery products move from smaller companies to retail shelves.

Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2026 will take place from October 18–20 at Harrogate Convention Centre in Harrogate, United Kingdom.
