Shanghai International Catering & Ingredients Exhibition 2026 will take place from August 26 to 28, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in Shanghai, China. Organised as the 17th edition of the event, the annual B2B exhibition covers the upstream, midstream and downstream segments of the catering and food ingredients supply chain. Its product scope includes meat and poultry, seafood, prepared foods, frozen products, hot-pot ingredients, rice and noodle products, seasonings, fruit and vegetable products, mushrooms, beverages and other food ingredients. Related food-processing, sterilisation, packaging and production equipment are also represented, connecting ingredient sourcing with downstream preparation and manufacturing technologies.
The exhibition is aimed at food wholesalers, distributors, importers and exporters, restaurant and catering groups, hotel operators, supermarket chains, e-commerce platforms, institutional food buyers and other procurement professionals. Suppliers can meet buyers looking for both finished food products and production solutions, while the organiser operates a procurement-matching system covering categories such as meat, seafood, prepared ingredients, seasonings, beverages, packaging and processing equipment. Buyer requirements are collected in advance and matched with relevant manufacturers, followed by coordinated one-to-one discussions between purchasing companies and suppliers.
The previous 2025 edition occupied approximately 120,000 square metres and brought together more than 3,000 exhibitors and 110,889 visitor attendances, providing a reference point for the scale of the 2026 event. The Shanghai exhibition is also organised alongside several related food-sector shows covering frozen foods, seasonings, meat, vegetarian products, seafood and wider food categories.
