Autonomous e-Mobility Forum (AEMOB) 2026 will take place from September 7 to 9, 2026, at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar. The second edition brings together more than 2,000 decision-makers and over 50 global speakers to examine the development and real-world deployment of autonomous, electric and intelligent mobility across the Middle East. Hosted by Qatar’s Ministry of Transport, the forum covers electric vehicles, autonomous road transport, advanced air mobility, eVTOL technologies, maritime mobility, charging infrastructure and connected transport systems, alongside the policy, cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks required to support their adoption.
The event is designed for government officials, transport authorities, automotive and mobility companies, technology developers, infrastructure providers, researchers, investors and professionals working across smart cities and sustainable transportation. Its programme examines strategy and technology, legal frameworks and markets, sustainability and economics, mobility implementation and community development. Discussions address issues such as international technical standards, electrification, automation, intelligent transport infrastructure and the integration of new mobility systems into cities and existing transport networks.
AEMOB 2026 combines two conference days with keynote sessions, expert panels, exhibitions and live demonstrations, followed by a dedicated ecosystem tour on the third day. The tour introduces participants to sustainable transport initiatives and practical mobility projects across Qatar, extending the discussion from policy and technology into real-world implementation. The programme also includes networking activities and the AEMOB Awards, recognising advances in research and sustainable mobility technologies. Through this combination of policy dialogue, technical exchange and practical demonstrations, the forum provides a cross-sector platform for shaping the next phase of autonomous and electric mobility in the GCC.
