The 21st Annual Cardiometabolic Health Congress will bring together specialists in Boston this October, with artificial intelligence, digital diabetes care and dementia prevention among the subjects on its 2026 program.
The conference will take place from October 15–17 at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza, with a separate pre-conference program scheduled for October 14. Its agenda covers developments in cardiovascular medicine, kidney disease, diabetes, obesity and related metabolic conditions.
Artificial intelligence will feature in discussions about cardiovascular imaging and the assessment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. One scheduled session will examine the use of imaging, coronary calcium scoring, computed tomography angiography (CTA) and AI in cardiovascular disease management.
Digital health will also be addressed in the diabetes program, including the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and other digital tools in clinical care. Additional sessions will examine diabetes management in older adults, resistant hypertension and the relationship between cardiovascular, kidney and metabolic health.
The congress will also examine dementia prevention through a keynote presentation by Rachel Whitmer, a professor at the University of California, Davis. Her October 15 session will review 25 years of research, from the identification of dementia risk factors to prevention trials.
A dedicated Women’s Cardiometabolic Health and Wellness Masterclass will take place on October 14, ahead of the main conference. Led by cardiologists Pam Taub and Erin Michos, the program will address cardiovascular risk factors specific to women, differences in disease presentation and approaches to prevention and treatment.
Its agenda includes discussions on pregnancy-related cardiovascular risks, weight management, atherosclerosis in women and cardiovascular treatment considerations.
Alongside the scientific sessions, CMHC 2026 will host an exhibition on October 15–16. The organizer expects nearly 50 exhibitors and sponsors, providing a commercial component to the congress for companies involved in cardiometabolic medicine and related healthcare technologies.
The combination of clinical research, digital technologies and multidisciplinary care places the 2026 program at the intersection of several areas of cardiometabolic medicine.
