The 54th CCBE Chengdu Beauty Expo will return to Chengdu from October 15–17, 2026, with its autumn edition placing greater emphasis on business categories that extend beyond traditional cosmetics and salon products.
Organizers are positioning the upcoming edition around a broader “Beauty+” concept, with increased attention on areas including health and wellness, medical aesthetics, international beauty brands, personal care and emerging service-based beauty businesses.
The shift reflects a more segmented approach to the exhibition. CCBE’s current product categories include professional salon and clinic products, Medical Aesthetics and MedSpa, international brands, mass-market and personal care, health and wellness, and aromatherapy and essential oils.
The autumn show will be the 54th edition of CCBE, which has been held in Chengdu since 1997 and now runs twice a year. The exhibition is part of the Informa Markets beauty portfolio and serves companies targeting buyers and distribution networks across Western China.
The broader direction is also visible in CCBE’s 2026 industry programming. Earlier sessions connected to the exhibition examined the use of artificial intelligence in salon operations and customer retention, while the China Beauty Industry Trends Summit focused on the so-called “silver economy,” including healthy ageing, anti-ageing treatments and wellness-oriented beauty services.
Those themes show how the business agenda around beauty is increasingly overlapping with technology, wellness and ageing-related services rather than remaining limited to conventional product categories.
The 2026 autumn edition will be held at the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center in Chengdu, China.
