Textile machinery manufacturers are preparing to showcase energy-saving equipment and digital production systems at IGATEX Pakistan 2026, as the exhibition brings new manufacturing technologies to Lahore.

The exhibition will cover machinery and equipment used throughout textile production, from spinning and weaving to knitting, garment manufacturing, digital printing and fabric finishing. Automation, resource efficiency and smart factory systems are among the areas highlighted by the organizer for this year’s event.

Several participating companies have already announced technologies aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing energy consumption and giving textile producers greater control over factory operations.

Energy efficiency and digital production

German textile technology manufacturer Groz-Beckert will present equipment and components for knitting, weaving, sewing and spinning.

Among its planned exhibits is the LCmax, an energy-saving needle for circular knitting machines. According to the company, its wave-shaped shank is designed to reduce friction and improve energy efficiency during production.

Groz-Beckert will also showcase INH 2.0, a digital needle management system that tracks sewing machine needles throughout their use, from inventory and production to recycling. The system is designed to improve documentation, monitor needle changes and support compliance in garment manufacturing. Factory digitalization will also feature at the exhibition.

BMSvision has confirmed that its local partner will demonstrate manufacturing execution system (MES) technology for textile mills. The software is designed to provide real-time production information, helping manufacturers identify operational bottlenecks, monitor processes and manage production efficiency.

Beyond individual machinery upgrades, IGATEX Pakistan 2026 will cover technologies used across the wider textile manufacturing process.

The exhibition’s product categories include digital textile printing, dyeing and finishing machinery, embroidery equipment, textile recycling systems, industrial components and production software.

Equipment for waste reduction and pollution prevention is also included in the exhibition’s scope, alongside textile chemicals and technical textile technologies.

For manufacturers, the technologies being presented address different stages of textile production, from machinery performance and energy consumption to production monitoring and quality management.

IGATEX Pakistan 2026 will take place from October 15–18 at Expo Centre Lahore, Pakistan.
