Festival of Motoring Johannesburg (FoM) 2026 will take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, South Africa. Organised as the ninth edition of the event, FoM combines an automotive exhibition with live driving and motorsport experiences. The 2026 edition is themed “Driven by Purpose, Defined by Legacy” and is expected to feature more than 25 automotive brands, over 40 pit doors and more than 100 exhibitors. Vehicle manufacturers, importers and automotive suppliers use the event to present new models, performance vehicles, products, services and technologies directly to consumers and motoring professionals.
The event is designed for automotive enthusiasts, prospective vehicle buyers, industry professionals, manufacturers, aftermarket companies and lifestyle brands. Its exhibition areas are divided into dedicated zones covering vehicle displays, 4×4 products, performance and motorsport, automotive lifestyle and entertainment. Visitors can examine new passenger vehicles and off-road models, meet participating brands and explore automotive products and services. The event combines traditional exhibition stands with direct vehicle experiences, giving manufacturers an opportunity to demonstrate performance and technology in an operational motorsport environment.
Live driving is a central part of the programme. Activities include complimentary track drives on the Kyalami circuit, performance-car hot laps, 4×4 experiences, self-drive sessions on the handling track, drifting, karting and motorsport demonstrations. The Motorsport Village also features racing activities and car-culture displays, while additional areas provide food, entertainment and hospitality. With more than 32,000 visitors expected across three days, Festival of Motoring combines automotive product discovery, motorsport and consumer engagement within one large-scale South African motoring event.
