Japan Jewellery Fair 2026 will take place from August 26 to 28, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight East Halls 1 and 2 in Tokyo, Japan. Co-organised by Informa Markets Japan and the Japan Jewellery Association, the event is an international B2B trade fair for the jewellery and gemstone industry. Its exhibition scope includes diamond, platinum, pearl, gold and silver jewellery, wedding and designer jewellery, watches, fashion jewellery, antique and second-hand pieces, as well as loose diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies, pearls and other gemstones. Jewellery-making machinery, production tools, display materials, measuring instruments, packaging and related professional services are also represented.
The fair is aimed at jewellery retailers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, manufacturers, designers, craftspeople and purchasing professionals, together with department stores, apparel boutiques, bridal businesses, online retailers and accessories sellers. Its B2B structure is designed around direct sourcing and long-term buyer-supplier relationships between Japanese and international companies. The exhibition also connects finished jewellery suppliers with gemstone traders, OEM/ODM providers, jewellery-production specialists, gemological laboratories, designers and technology companies supporting the sector.
The 2026 programme extends beyond product sourcing with professional seminars, industry events and a Digital Showroom for researching participating companies and jewellery collections. A dedicated Re-Owned Jewellery feature reflects the growing market for pre-owned pieces, while the organisers have also announced the final judging of the Jewellery Coordinator Customer Service Contest and an initiative inviting jewellery and fashion students to engage with the professional industry. These activities position JJF as both a commercial sourcing event and a knowledge-sharing platform for Japan’s jewellery market.
