The Wellington Food Show 2026 will take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, at Hnry Stadium in Wellington, New Zealand. The three-day consumer food event brings together more than 100 exhibitors presenting food, beverages, artisan products and new culinary concepts. Visitors can discover products from established brands and smaller producers across categories including cheese, deli foods, bakery products, sauces, snacks, beverages, specialty ingredients and gourmet foods. The show combines product discovery and direct purchasing with tastings, demonstrations and interactive experiences designed around cooking and contemporary food culture.
The event is aimed at food enthusiasts, home cooks and consumers interested in discovering new products and flavours, while participating companies use the show to introduce products directly to the New Zealand market. Dedicated areas include the Deli Collective, featuring cheeses and deli products, and Artisan Village, which focuses on traditionally produced and craft food products. Morningcider Street Food Alley provides an additional foodservice element, bringing together ready-to-eat dishes and beverages within the exhibition environment.
The 2026 programme includes The Cooking Theatre, where chefs demonstrate recipes and cooking techniques, alongside Hancocks Cocktail Masterclasses covering cocktails, spirits and mixology. Other features include The Art of Cake baking competition and the Pitch to Plate dining experience. Celebrity chefs Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge are among the featured culinary personalities for the Wellington edition. By combining more than 100 exhibitors with live cooking, tastings, masterclasses and specialist food zones, The Wellington Food Show provides a broad overview of products and culinary trends within New Zealand’s consumer food and beverage market.
