Some of Colombia’s highest-rated coffee lots from the 2026 main harvest will be presented to buyers during Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026, which takes place in Bogotá from October 15–18.
The event will host the final stage of the 11th National Coffee Quality Competition, “Colombia, Land of Diversity,” bringing selected coffees from Colombian producers into direct contact with national and international buyers. According to the official event program, the winning coffees will be recognized during an awards ceremony on October 15, followed by a hybrid auction on October 16.
The auction is designed to give buyers access to selected specialty coffee lots while creating direct commercial links with the producers behind them. The organizers are currently providing separate commercial contacts for buyers in North America, Asia, Europe, Colombia and Latin America.
The quality competition is one of several industry-focused activities scheduled during this year’s fair. Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 will also include the Colombian Roasters Championship and the IX Colombian Brewers Cup Championship, placing production quality, roasting and preparation alongside the exhibition’s commercial program.
The roasters competition evaluates participants across green coffee grading, roast-profile development and final sensory quality, with coffees assessed for characteristics including aroma, flavor, acidity, sweetness, body and balance.
Beyond competitions, the exhibition brings together coffee growers, roasting and milling companies, equipment manufacturers, café suppliers, certifiers, financial institutions and other organizations operating across the coffee value chain.
Cafés de Colombia Expo 2026 will be held from October 15–18 at Corferias in Bogotá, Colombia. The event is organized by Café de Colombia and Corferias.
