Broadband Communities Summit USA 2026 will take place from August 25 to 27, 2026, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. The event focuses on the development and delivery of next-generation broadband and communications infrastructure across communities in the United States. Its scope extends from multifamily properties and master-planned developments to rural communities, tribal nations and urban areas, bringing together the property, telecommunications and network infrastructure sectors. The 2026 edition is expected to attract more than 1,500 attendees, 150 exhibitors and 175 speakers representing over 500 organisations.
The summit is aimed at broadband providers, network builders, property owners and developers, municipal and community leaders, telecommunications companies, infrastructure investors, technology suppliers and policy professionals. Discussions address the technical, financial and regulatory requirements involved in expanding high-speed connectivity, including fiber deployment, middle-mile infrastructure, data centres, construction strategies, commercial partnerships and broadband services for multifamily housing. The event provides an exhibition area where attendees can meet technology providers, infrastructure suppliers and potential project partners working across the broadband ecosystem.
The 2026 conference programme is organised around five principal content areas: Keynotes, Finance & Frameworks, Infrastructure, Communities and Multifamily. Sessions will examine broadband financing, public-private partnerships, regulation, community engagement, network construction and strategies for improving connectivity in different types of communities. August 25 will serve as the pre-event programme, followed by the main summit on August 26 and 27. The Broadband Communities Awards will also be presented during the event, recognising projects, providers and initiatives across the US connectivity sector.
