The eighth edition of the Bangladesh International Marine & Offshore Expo (BIMOX) will take place in Dhaka from October 15–17, 2026, bringing together companies and professionals from the shipbuilding, maritime, port and offshore industries.
The exhibition will be held at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). In its current event description, BIMOX highlights green shipbuilding and compliant ship recycling among the areas receiving attention, alongside marine equipment, port technologies and offshore engineering.
Shipbuilding and ship recycling form an important part of the event’s positioning in Bangladesh. According to the organizer, BIMOX is designed to connect shipbuilders and recyclers with equipment suppliers, technology providers, regulators and other companies operating across the maritime supply chain.
The exhibition covers a broad range of technologies and services, including ship and boat construction and repair, engines and propulsion systems, marine electronics, navigation and communication technologies, cargo handling systems, port equipment, coatings, safety equipment and maritime services. Offshore-related categories include support vessels, drilling equipment, subsea technologies, monitoring systems and process equipment.
Sustainable maritime technologies are also included in the event’s scope, giving suppliers involved in vessel efficiency, environmental solutions and modern shipbuilding processes a place within the wider exhibition.
BIMOX’s current fact sheet lists 300 expected booths and participation from 16 countries for the 2026 edition. The event is organized by Savor International Limited and is held annually.
With shipbuilding, recycling, port operations and offshore technologies represented under the same exhibition, BIMOX 2026 will provide a view of the equipment and technologies being presented to Bangladesh’s maritime market.
