About BIGTECH Africa 2026 | Technology, AI & Investment Event Tunisia

BIGTECH Africa 2026 will take place on October 13 and 14, 2026, at Cité de la Culture in Tunis, Tunisia. The third edition is a pan-African technology, artificial intelligence and investment platform connecting public-sector decision-makers, technology companies, startups, investors and enterprise leaders. The event is expected to bring together more than 4,000 qualified participants, over 100 speakers and more than 40 international investors, with representation from at least 10 countries. Its 2026 programme is organised around three main pillars: Africa and international cooperation, business and technologies, and investment and startups.

Technology discussions cover sovereign AI, algorithmic governance, cybersecurity, African cloud infrastructure, GovTech, FinTech, GreenTech and Industry 4.0. Business-focused sessions examine practical technology deployment across banking and finance, telecommunications, energy, retail, e-commerce and public administration. The agenda also includes subjects such as generative and frugal AI, robotics, digital healthcare, autonomous cybersecurity, smart cities, advanced air mobility and AgriTech, linking emerging technologies with real-world applications and investment priorities across African markets.

BIGTECH Africa places particular emphasis on structured business development rather than conventional exhibition traffic. The 2026 format includes an Exhibition Hall alongside Main Stage and specialist conference rooms, while the Eventoo B2B Lounge is designed to facilitate more than 1,000 pre-arranged meetings. Investor Rooms, a Deal Lounge and the Sovereign AI & Cloud Hackathon support startup-investor connections, with 30 to 50 African startups expected to participate in the investment programme. The event also promotes South-South cooperation, connecting Africa with partners from the Gulf, Asia and international technology ecosystems.
